Sectoral trends-  Auto & Auto Ancillary
In line with the pick up in demand for automobiles since mid 2009 a host of small cap auto ancillary companies together delivered about 50 percent  growth in sales in each of the three quarters. Amongst those Gabrial India is a prominent example and it has performed well in the recent quarters
The broad trend has played out in the sensex companies too with auto makers hogging the limelight with strong top line and bottom line growth. I like Ashok Leyland in the auto sector;
So I suggest to my clients to accumulate Gabrial India and Ashok Leyland at lower levels using the present market condition for a decent 20% return in 6 months time period.
The current market price of Gabrial is Rs 58  and Ashok Leyland current market price is 72
